Also little tip, i take the outputted picture and i save it as a jpg with krita. For example, with your picture with “double upscayl” the size is 83MiB and after saving it in jpg 1,9MiB.
The resolution for my tv/display is 3840x2160 so this square image won t work. Oh well…Upscayl is a decent app though. Thanks for that
That depend of the composition of the picture but for this one, sadly too much is lost.
One way to experiment with AI art generation is to use google colab. Its free BUT you can only using it when they are free slot available. I’ve tried this colab. This one let you change the output resolution so you just need to dividing your resolution by 4 and upscaling x4.
I use the cjxl
command line utility provided by libjxl
to convert to jpeg-xl.
