As you can see in the linked video, Firefox won’t stay vertically maximized. Sometimes it even shrinks it’s horizontal resolution by a few pixels. This happens with both Librewolf and Firefox. I’ve tried to force resolution in both application and window settings but no matter what it just shrinks by a few pixels. After resizing, it will be fine until I click out of the window/onto another window or move my mouse to another desktop, then it will shrink it’s vertical resolution by one pixel at a time. I installed endeavouros about a month ago now, and this behavior wasn’t present in the benninging. This only started happening after a few weeks. It is a mild inconvenience but an infuriating one at the same time. I also have Thorium browser on the side in case some sites aren’t compatible with Firefox, and the chromium browser does not exhibit this behavior; it seems like it only occurs with Firefox and forks of Firefox. I’ve tried to research the issue but I haven’t found any answers, so any suggestions will help. Thanks.
This a weird one, - happens to me too, - to be honest I just click on maximise and carry on.
You could try right clicking on the corner of the window, and choosing More Actions → Special Application Settings, and setting the size to be whatever the maximum is for your display (yes it’s a workaround, but I haven’t got any other suggestions).
