Firefox keeps crashing after every launch

Well that tells you everything you need to know. It’s not EOS. It’s not your hardware and it’s not Firefox! It’s either Proton or Wine or what ever you are doing with those gaming platforms. My suggestion was to try adding one thing see if it’s works such as Steam then Proton. Wine is baked into proton. Are you installing Wine on it’s own? Are you using ProtonVPN? All these things could be the issue. Try a different browser such as chromium.

I tried installing software one by one and my guess is that’s a wine-ge’s fault in Heroic. I also installed wine-staging because for some reason wine-ge wouldn’t configure prefix without it installed.

About ProtonVPN - I don’t use it. I self host VPN based on AmneziaWG and using AmneziaVPN app

I guess this topic is officially solved.

Rather than stay on FF and suffer, I migrated to Brave

Have you considered trying to install either Firefox or Heroic/Steam using Flatpak, or both? I know it’s probably not very much used by Arch users (because the AUR exists), but I think this is one of the cases where it might be useful.

I didn’t. I don’t really like containered apps like snap, appimage and flatpak

Does Firefox work normally in safe mode? https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Firefox#Troubleshoot_Mode

If it does, try the suggestion below that to set media.ffmpeg.vaapi.enabled to false in about:config (and restart Firefox) to see if it makes any difference.
