Firefox is opening up under the panel in KDE Plasma

When I launch Firefox for the first time (maximized), it opens up under the panel in KDE Plasma.

It looks like this:

1

When it should look like this:

2

The problem still occurs on subsequent launches intermittently and won’t necessary remember the window position.

I tried reinstalling Firefox and creating a new profile, but it didn’t help.

I created a window rule and now the initial launch will be under the panel, but subsequent launches seem to open properly.

Any idea why this is happening and how make it open properly without needing a window rule?

I think I figured out what the problem is. It has to do with scaling in Wayland. My system was set to 125% and when I changed it to 100%, the problem went away. However, this doesn’t fix the problem, it just identifies it. So, maybe a bug report needs to be filed with KDE.

By the way, creating a Window Rule does not fix the problem as stated in my previous post. But, I am unable to edit the post to update it.
