still hoping for some actual breakthrough in this field, browsing in 2025 feels almost as clunky as it was in the 90’s
Is your memory before or after browsers went multi-threaded?
Single threaded browsers were fun watching the images load one by one.
my memory goes back to when you’d connect to a BBS via packet radio technology using a C64 and lots of patience
