I donāt have any issues Iām aware of.
I suppose everything is right for you, as you can see above, VP9 is supported for Raven Ridge and newer, what I didnāt understand is why it didnāt show up in your vainfoā¦ But if its working, perfect then 
Polaris canāt do VP9 I think. Raven Ridge is newerā¦

It is my understanding that Polaris only has hybrid support so reduced cpu loads but not full gpu support.
Unfortunately, I donāt have enough information about Polaris.. This is my first AMD GPU, before that I was always using Nvidia.. So I just checked the info about AMD newer GPUs like 6600 xt which I bought..
What do you mean about hybrid support? You mean dual GPU?
I just read info here and there that says hybrid to offload some functions from the cpu. So basically its software i believe mostly. Both of my cards Nvidia GTX 1060 and Amd RX 590 are a close match to each other. Which one is better is subjective. Iām not a gamer and the only thing i really care about is that everything works well enough for what i am using it for. I donāt have any issues really. So for now is good enough.
Edit: One day i might get into the 6000 series cards.

I usually keep the same hardware for 4-5 years, then I buy new, and sell the old..
rx590 is still pretty capable, correct if Iām wrong, but its faster than the RX 6500 and faster than RTX 3050ā¦

This release broke a lot of things hereā¦ downgrading back to 97
Yeah, there seems to be some problems. Hope they patch it out fast.
