Firefox 115: some add-ons may be blocked from running on certain sites 😮

Let’s hope the forthcoming UI improvements are sufficient.

So I was watching ads today on the new Firefox and I couldn’t believe how much I enjoy not getting to the thing I was trying to watch, and instead watching a thing I don’t care about and closing out pop ups.

Thanks Mozilla.

They do know almost no one uses Firefox, and pretty much the only ones of us who don’t use chrome or chrome browsers are almost exclusively the type of people who use ad blockers.

Are they trying to kill off the final few of us? Really??

Also this isn’t really true, I haven’t updated still. But when I do. . . Maybe it’s time to just use ungoogled chromium. I already need it for looking at plane tickets cause Delta site won’t work on Firefox anyways

I use Firefox and I have no issues. :person_shrugging:

Ah, the famous I have no issues.

FWIW - I also am having just a grand old time over here watching baseball and playing cyberpunk. Everything is great on my end

Cyberpunk sounds good. I just don’t know what sites you have all the pops ups or ads on with Firefox because i don’t seem to get that and i tried the Delta site and it seems fine here.

Edit: Honestly I just don’t get very many issues. :man_shrugging:

Translation we know what is best for EVERYONE so please F off and deal with it.

These are bank sites in Brazil, bb means Brazil Bank (Banco do Brasil).
Let me search sicredi.com.br

Edit:
sicredi is also a bank in Brazil.
Caixa is also a bank in Brazil (Caixa econĂ´mica).
Bradesco, same thing.

Was extensions.quarantinedDomains.list already populated on your browser?

My list has the same things

That is the actual list. Am I understanding your question?

It means you visit one of those sites, some of your addons might be disabled for those sites depending on your other settings.

Interesting, my list is empty. Does it somehow populate those if you are in brazil I wonder?

Yepp!

Now mine is populated as well! It wasn’t yesterday.

GODzilla at work!

Could be… I really don’t know.
I wonder if these sites were included after yesterday’s update of Firefox… (115.0.1)

I am not. Yet mine is populated as well.

I wonder which one of my extensions the Guardian Angels have “reason to believe” that might be “malicious” and “not yet discovered”

I never been to any of the sites listed and they are populated in the browser.

Mine is empty. Oh, maybe because I have been testing this feature with the nightly version of Firefox? Perhaps it behaves differently?

I am on nightly right now.
Perhaps they are just rolling it out at different stages?
