Why does findutils need a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.

I would feel much better with a CODE_OF_QUALITY.

As an open source project, there can be many people both contributing code and discussing the application. The code of conduct is a way to let everyone know what appropriate behavior is.
Well, I think it’s more than reasonable to require manners and common decency from people who commit into projects.
Also I think if you seek support for your possible views that these things are stupid, then you should seek somewhere else. This Forum has similar rules on conduct.
Wow. I don’t know how to proceed with this reply. Taken at face value it seems to support the premise that codes of conduct don’t work.
