Favourite browser extensions?

I use Vivaldi for its sidebar, we all know which are the best blocker and security extensions, but what else do you run?

Mine are:

Bitwarden:

Can’t remember passwords

Languagetool:

Excellent spell checker

Vimium

Control your browser from your keyboard

Powerclose

I open a lot of tabs, especially from the BBC as I read the news, right click and close all tabs from this domain.

Bukubrow

I use buku, this is the extension for it.

Dark Reader

I took a while to be convinced, but dark themes are best (for me).

What do you use?

On Firefox, I use;

  • Adblock Plus
I need to get rid of those ads popping up everywhere.
  • Lastpass

  • Netflix auto-skip
One less mouse click to binge-watch.
  • New Tab Homepage
I hate the default new tab.
  • Youtube High Definition
All videos play at highest definition and in theater mode by default.

only ublock origin, but this is essential for me!

Apart from the blocker and YouTube Enhancer, the Pixiv Downloader is important for me for all the illustrations I download

Right click enable is also necessary on some nasty websites

uBlock Origin is the only one that’s constantly turned on.

Then there is:

HOXX VPN

At home I got a VPN running in the router.

CanvasBlocker seems like a good idea, have added it (chrome version).

i wound’t use any canvas-like browser on chrome, i often read everywhere that chrome doesn’t have any decent canvas extension.
This is the one i use for firefox:

Sorry to say, but it’s pointless with them. Browser/device fingerprinting is difficult to block!

You can thank Google and Facebook for that. Probably more too

On Waterfox (grrr):

addons

A shame that uMatrix maintenance has stopped, but at least blocks can still be turned on manually and set per page; just not the auto-blocking happening, as far as I can tell.
