@makeixo Can you run…

systemctl --failed

I also wanted to ask are you running a dual boot system with Windows 10?

It occurs to me that these files are the ones that are giving problems when loading kernel modules:

sudo rm /usr/lib/modules-load.d/bluez.conf

sudo rm /usr/lib/modules-load.d/cdrecord.conf

sudo rm /usr/lib/modules-load.d/pkcs8.conf

After deleting them, restart the system and please comment on how it went.

LOAD = Reflects whether the unit definition was properly loaded.
ACTIVE = The high-level unit activation state, i.e. generalization of SUB.
SUB = The low-level unit activation state, values depend on unit type.

1 loaded units listed.

Yes, I do …

It acually doesnt show any list (ok/failed) anymore.

therefore it seems to be ok. Thank you!

I’m just wondering if the shutdown issue is related to hiberfile in Windows 10? So in UEFI there is fast boot and normally you would have this turned off and also secure boot would normally be turned off or disabled. So in Windows 10 there is a feature under power management that is called Windows 10 fast startup. This needs to be turned off in order for hibernation setting to be off. Maybe this is causing the issue?

I have no I idea if thats possible, but I will try it out tomorrow.

It would be terrific getting this issue finally solved!
If thats the case I will propose you for men of the year, my friend!

@Resiliencia Thanks for your help.

I have work to do, so i installed another distro. The problem was that it still wont boot with LTS kernel

@AndreasDimo I hope you come back and try again sometime. Endeavour is awesome and I’m not sure what trouble you were having but I’m sure it is some hardware issue that could be resolved.

I am sure of that. But i am tired of reinstalling thats why

I only saw the tail end of your posts so i didn’t understand what the problem was you were having. I’m not sure if you ever got Endeavour installed or you had run into an issue later on and it wouldn’t boot up anymore? I hope you’ll be back and give it another go at some point. Endeavour is shaping up to be a very good distro. I am really waiting for the online version of their installer where i can install a desktop of choice. Hope to see you back.

I have installed just fine and boot it fine but after I have installed LTS kernel and remove some virtual box modules like they suggested here in the forum but after that it is not boot

That is really strange because installing lts kernel would not likely be the problem. As far as the virtualbox stuff goes. When you install Endeavour it gives a message when it boots about virtual box. I just went into startup applications and removed the virtualbox just so i didn’t get any message on boot.

I know and you have right. But it wont boot, and i have only one pc so i dont have time to search for a solution. To bad because i am following the project from the start and i feel it like my own distro (sorry from my English)
