The above message appear when I boot from usb and then, below it, appear boot>. What can I do?
What did you use to create the live usb?
Mx Linux Live USB Creator
Try a different tool to format the usb. Here’s a few options from the wiki. There might have been an issue creating the live usb.
I would download the ISO again and write to the USB again.
I follow your instructions, I write it again, I boot, and it writes isolinux.bin is missing or corrupt continuously
This creates an individual ISO backupfile of a preconfigured MX Linux install, or not? Forgive me if I‘m wrong, please.
No, I made all the distros with it, not only Mx Linux
Did you set up persistence when using it?
In the first writing, yes
Try downloading the latest ISO and use Rufus instead…
Rufus is not in package of Mx Linux
To check the ISO file with the sha512:
sha512sum -c EndeavourOS_Cassini_Nova-03-2023_R1.iso.sha512sum
To check the ISO file with gpg signature import our key and verify
(Do not forget to trust the key after validating it)
This ISO is signed by: Johannes Kamprad (joekamprad@endeavouros.com)
pub rsa2048 2021-02-03 [SC] 8F43 FC37 4CD4 CEEA 19CE E323 E3D8 752A CDF5 95A1 uid [ultimate] Johannes Kamprad (joekamprad development key) <joekamprad@endeavouros.com> uid [ultimate] [jpeg image of size 3520] sub rsa2048 2021-02-03 [E]
To verify the key
gpg --recv CDF595A1 gpg --verify EndeavourOS_Cassini_Nova-03-2023_R1.iso.sig
- If you are on a Linux system and feel comfortable with terminal and command line, use dd to write the ISO to the USB flashdrive.
You need to be very careful which drive to choose to write to as this can potentially damage your system if you choose the wrong device.
If you don’t feel comfortable with this method, don’t use it!
