Failed EndeavourOS install makes my drives unmountable

Hello everyone,

I setup an EndeavourOS install to replace my Kubuntu which I was using before. Prior to this, I setup my /home on a separate partition and it worked just fine in Kubuntu. When I tried to install Endeavour, I made the /home partition bigger, except the installer was stuck at 2% for a solid 30 mins. I decided to reboot and retry and now all of my partitions won’t mount, including the GRUB I had set up with the installer. I only really care for the /home one as I was planning on formatting the other ones anyway. The partition is btrfs, and the 679 gigs of files I have on there still show up in KDE Partition Manager so I feel like they aren’t lost. Here is my dmesg if it is of any use.

If you guys could help me recover it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Edit : here is the result of using btrfs check on the partition if that helps

Hey again,

After some discussion with a helpful person on Reddit, it appears I have moved the start of the /home partition over the /root one which completely mangled my data beyond repair. I tried most recovery methods that exist with btrfs and none of them worked. Suffice to say I will be using ext4 from now on! I have backups of my important data so everything’s okay though, just need to reconfigure my software and… legally reinstall some games :wink:
