External monitor not detected over USB-C, potential driver issue/nvidia-prime setup?

Hello EOS people! Long time lurker finally deciding to post as well as I’m facing an issue that I can’t seem to solve no matter how many posts here, on reddit or the arch forums I read. (Also pardon if formatting is incorrect, doing my best to keep it tidy and organized, any suggestions on how should I update the format are appreciated!)

My system:

Operating System: EndeavourOS
KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0
Qt Version: 6.9.0
Kernel Version: 6.14.2-arch1-1 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland
Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS with Radeon Graphics
Memory: 30.7 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor 1: AMD Radeon Graphics
Graphics Processor 2: zink Vulkan 1.4
Manufacturer: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC.
Product Name: ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401QM_GA401QM
System Version: 1.0

My problem:

As the title states, I have an issue where if I plug an external monitor via USB-C into my laptop, no video output shows. I have verified the cable works and supports video by plugging a friends Win 11 laptop and that worked fine with the external monitor. Similarly, I remember using this port on my laptop back when I had Win 11 myself for external monitors so I am certain it is the DP enabled USB-C port (it’s on the left side of the laptop for those familiar with the machine).

What I’ve tried so far:

This was mainly chatgpt (I know I feel horrible, I should just rtfm) but even rtfm did not get me far. I started with the system as mentioned above where the second graphics processor was always stated as Zink Vulkan 1.4. This made me think that it might’ve been the issue as I have EOS on my desktop too (there I have an RTX 4070 Ti) and the graphics processor is mentioned as discreet while that is not the case on my laptopt.
Since I realized this I installed envycontrol and nvidia-inst and ran

nvidia-inst --prime

and afterwards to select the GPU/Nvidia mode only

sudo envycontrol -s nvidia

This however did not help. Following what seemed to be asked from others havinig similar issues, further I am posting outputs of:

inxi -G

Hopefully I remembered to include everything I somewhat tried so far, I would be extremely grateful for anyone and everyone to help in any way they can!

EDIT #1: Remembered to mention couple more things:

  1. I’ve tried connecting external monitor via HDMI and that works without any issues/selecting modes, etc. etc.
  2. I tried switching from Wayland to X11, however to no avail, behavior was consistent no matter the window manager.

EDIT #2: Adding output of lspci that I forgot to append before (the command was executed while the external monitor was plugged in via USB-C):

I am a total noob this subject mathers. But you might have a peep at https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/DisplayLink maybe you find some clue´s
