My stack is: endeavour os / kde plasma / wayland.
I have a weird problem : I want to use an external monitor via HDMI (asus proart PA169CDV) but my screen stays black and keep resetting the config despite the fact that the screen is detected in the setting (the screen is also detected in the screenshot program, in the wallpaper setting, …):
I have tried with another screen given by my companies (iiyama) and everything look fine.
I use the exact same HDMI cable.
So I have two questions :
- any idea how to debug this situation?
- I have two usb-c on my computer, how to check if one of those support video? Do I need a special driver for that?
