Is there another way to update without uninstalling gnome-shell-extension-pop-shell

I personally turn off extension validation in the dconf editor and since that, I donât think Iâve ever had an extension not work to be honest.
It should fix your issue since itâs failing by not seeing gnome 44
Looks like Gnome 45 showed up for me today (as one of the regular folk). Since I have gone through several breaks when I was on Manjaro, I try to rarely use Gnome extensions. Broken for me:
- GSConnect
- NordVPN Connect (which I am waiting for confirmation that it is no longer supported).
- Unite (which allowed my Title bar, min, maximize and close controlls to go to the top bar).
Guess we shall see what is fixed next month.
Only 2 of my extensions were not updated to 45 yet, which I can live with - however I experienced odd visual glitches after updating Gnome-stuff and Mutter, notably stuttering pointer movements. Rolled back to a pre-update snapshot and the odd pointer glitch disappeared. Will try updating again in the weekend.
GSConnect, ddterm, and OpenWeather are not yet working on Gnome 45. I can run Guake in place of ddterm for now and Gnome-Weather in place of OpenWeather. I can live without GSConnect until it catches up I suppose.
One thing about Gnome-Weather though, If I select âShow Weather in Clock Menuâ (using Just Perfection), the weather display is truncated slightly. Havenât figured out how to correct that yet.
Not related to extensions but, the only issue was I lost Lock-Screen ability (no lock icon in the power menu nor would SUPER-L work). Had to go into dconf-editor and manually reset it. Itâs working since doing so.
For me the only 2 that donât work in Gnome 45 are Unite & Pamac Updates Indicator, not a big deal.
tailscale status, impatience and auto activities donât work
