Experiments in Starting Hyprland

When I installed Hyprland, I opted to do it alongside my existing desktop (Gnome). Mainly because I was unfamiliar with using a tiling compositor and wasn’t sure it would work out for me. So, since I had Gnome on board already I lauched Hyprland with GDM and it works just fine.
.
Just out of curiosity though, I tried launching Hyprland using SDDM and from a bare TTY using a wrapper script as suggested in the Wiki. I was thinking the memory footprint would go down but, in reality, it stayed about the same in all three cases.
.
One caveat though. When launching from a TTY I didn’t reset the boot target in Systemd. I switched to a fresh TTY, stopped the display manager with systemctl, and then ran the Hyprland wrapper script. I was just “trying it out” after all. Maybe, if I reset the boot target (multiuser, I think?..I can look it up) so that the Display Manager never starts and I don’t need to open a new TTY…perhaps it will come in at a smaller footprint after all.
.
…then again, I didn’t figure out how to get Gnome-Keyring to auto login when starting from the command line. I mean, I could j"ugly solve it" but setting the password to nothing but, it was just “tinkering” anyways.
