Everything is so big after nvidia drivers download

it is but still i think it’s not the mistake here

You may not think so but I am a big believer in updating the UEFI firmware. I have had others with doubts and it fixed their problem. But that’s not even the real reason for updating it. It has the latest agesa which is what runs everything and security is also part of it.

let’s try, it shouldn’t be a that long procedure

well i can actually do a thing, since it’s a fresh new system i could update the bios and check if it fixed things and if not I could try downloading again endeavauros choosing Nvidia at the first boot

I would also try another Hdmi cable if you have one available just for curiosity. These are the only things i can think of to try to diagnose the reason. I am also running Kde so I don’t see this issue.

i unfortunately don’t own it

I have many …

would you pass one? XD kidding
but onestly i don’t really think it’s the problem, no issue when I run windows on the other hdd and the fact is that it’s even fine on endeavouros when I don’t have the nvidia drivers installed here

Ya I know what your saying but i never relate what happens on Windows to Linux. It is odd because the drivers are installed correctly. The monitor is set correctly to the right resolution as far as i know? What is the monitor make and model? Is it’s native resolution 1920x1080? Hz should be 60

it’s particular to explain cause on windows it resulted to be 1920x1080i and not p but that never caused problems to go on the p resolutions

Well one is progressive and the other interlaced.

well yeah so the native resolution is 1920x1080i, just this

I’m hopeful this issue can be resolved.

i hope too, any help would be good accepted

Are you going to go ahead and update the uefi firmware(bios)

Edit: That’s where i would start at least.

oh sorry for not updating but yes i already installed the new version of the bios and still nothing, now i was searching something in xfce

Okay…I run kde and have no issues but i am on amdgpu for my graphics card which is AMD RX590 with a Ryzen 3800X processor. I know your card is a bit older Nvidia but it is still supported by the latest drivers. I know Nvidia has dropped support for a lot of the older cards 700 and below. But yours shouldn’t be a problem and this issue to me doesn’t seem like it should be happening.

i found that other guys had the same problem of mine and the fun fuct is that the first i saw was in 2019 and other ones in 2021 with no solution at the end
