Something similar is happening to me. I have a yellow exclamation mark on the Wi-Fi icon saying “limited connectivity”, but my internet connection works perfectly fine.
Do you have mullvad installed?
I have the same thing going on, if I start and connect mullvad the icon turns normal. As soon as mullvad gets disconnected and closed the icon turns back into the one with the questionmark. Seems there is a conflict between mullvad and networkmanager.
Hi! AFAIK, the “limited connectivity” icon isn’t a real internet problem in this case — NetworkManager runs an automatic connectivity check by trying to reach a specific URL. If that URL doesn’t respond as expected, it marks the connection as limited, even if your internet works fine.
When you connect Mullvad (or any VPN), your traffic is routed differently, so the connectivity check suddenly succeeds via the VPN. That’s why the icon goes back to normal while Mullvad is active. It’s not a compatibility issue — it’s just how NM’s connectivity test behaves.
Well ok, then everything should get to it’s usual state, if the domain that is checked by NM is reachable again. Guess waiting is the best we can do now.
Yea I get the red exclamation point and told limited connectivity unable to connect to the internet, but run speed test from Konsole or the INTERNET and get 890 MBS. I’ve seen this before but not for a very long time.
Just saw the limited connectivity message in the popup of my ethernet icon in the system tray, and saw some message flashing by in Arch. This could maybe have something to do with only having IPv6 available for the arch sites. Because I didn’t see the same thing in Sparkylinux which is debian based.
So best thing we can do is just wait and see 
Don’t think it’s a arch issue. My desktop weather widget isn’t propagating since this started after the last update. Think I’ll roll back and see if I’m right.

Just did the restore and all’s good, so yes one of the updates is the issue.

I didn’t do any rollback. But it’s back to usual. Guess the domain is reachable again.
I don’t think it’s the domain since my weather widget was affected as well, and now with the rollback it propagates again.
Yeah, the domain is reachable again. “Problem” solved. 
Everything got back to normal
