I think looks good. just make sure to have a live usb of EOS at hand, just in case you run into the grub issue. For me installing grub fixed it on 2 different laptops, no problems with reboot and updates in last couple of days.
This is also a different issue than the title and previous thread content.
It means your AUR package (rest) is in the way.
Remove or ignore it.
It will need to be rebuilt in any case.
(If you actually need rest at all.)
Er. I just looked and cant even find rest package at all. In the repos or the AUR.
What might be called a ‘super alien’ .. unless you have some good reason to have that specific package .. you probably want to remove and/or replace it.
