You can disregard that.
It is because systemd is returning an error when it decides it doesn’t need to update the ESP.

@dalto I did notice this before and i know its harmless but did you report this to the maintainer/developer of systemd?
It would be nice to solve this unnecessary error i would think.

I believe it is deliberate on the systemd side.
They have a --graceful
flag which blocks the error but that ensures it doesn’t return error in other situations as well.

Mm deliberate? I wouldn’t classify something that is, in some cases, not needed as an error.
But yes blocking all errors is not the way to go either.
