EOS with grub on HDD after existing EOS with systemd on SSD

I have an unusual setup.
On my 256GB SSD I have EOS(systemd) and Win11
On my 1TB HDD I have another Win11

I am thinking to format my HDD and install EOS(with GRUB boot)

I want you inputs. Here are same questions to consider
What all problems can I face? How to minimize the trouble? What precautions I should take and be aware of? Is this worth it?

feel free to ask me any more info and also feel free to change the topic category if required

Thanks a lot of this awesome distro and support

I personally would not recommend having more than one boot loader.

It shouldn’t break anything but why would you do that? Is the a reason you want to use two different bootloaders?

I can get my way around linux but there are a lot of things that I dont know.
I watch tutorials and they all use grub.
For example: KVM GPU Passthrough and VM stuff requires grubmkconfig that I dont understand how to implement in systemd.

You just put the same kernel options in /etc/kernel/cmdline and then run sudo reinstall-kernels.

Although, again, if you want to run two bootloaders, you certainly can.

Ohhh. Thanks for sharing that. I will dig more on this and decide which road to take.
If I mark your comment as solution, Will I able to open this post again?

What could go wrong? Please elaborate if possible.
I am fine with system booting to SSD and If I ever want to use the HDD I will use F12 during boot

Its not so much of something that could go wrong its just more of a management thing. Just easier to keep up with one over two.

But they will separate from each other, right? different disks no conflicts
what do you mean by Management? I can only think of regularly checking in and updating the system

Dude I’m old and forgetful I would get frustrated putting in the wrong commands to remember what Loader I have on which. Just to much for me to keep up with

lol. got it
Old only on the outside sir, inside you are still fresh :heavy_heart_exclamation:
