Enter a selection (default=all):

That is what happens when you install a group. It lists all the things in the group and asks which ones you want. Normally you would just hit “enter” there.

I hit enter. I should have xfce4 now, but I do not see a way to choose de on my login screen. I read that it s supposed to be selectable on bottom right of screen, but I see nothing there.

Which DM are you using?

gnome. Wait. What is DM?

Which Display Manager are you using?

From memory there should be a gear icon near the where you enter your password

The gear did appear on the 3rd logout on bottom right of screen. Weird that it took 1 reboot, and 3 logouts. Anyway, I m on xfce now. Reason is I will be re installing eos this weekend, and I want to test out the different de s before I do. Thanks all :+1:

Easiest way to test them out would be in a VM that way you are less likely to run into errors

I got fed up with my eos vm. Every time I install I get no sound.

What program are you using for your VM?

Virtualbox. Actually the Enable Audio check box is greyed out every time like this.

This is off topic though. I will make another thread for virtualbox audio problem.
