EOS on odroid M1?

The odroid M1 looks interesting. odroid M1 (uk)

Can EOS be installed on an odroid M1?

Has anyone done it, and is it easy?

The most direct answer is no, simply because we haven’t this particular hardware in our ARM fleet. It certainly does look interesting, though…

If you can get Arch Linux Arm on it, you can use our post-install script. To install EOS.

Isn’t this the same chip Apple uses?

No, it is just named similar.
The chip inside is Rockchip RK3568B2, same company as pinebook chip

Ah, then I stand corrected.

Thanks very much for the replies.

Yes it is interesting, but some way above my skill level.
Looks like one person has come close to installing Arch, but it’s definitely not easy.

So am I right in thinking that I should

  • Wait until there is a simple routine for installing Arch (following the thread mentioned by Shjim)
  • Not worry about EOS, because the post-install script already makes that bit easy ?
