A bit more context: I’ve been using Linux since 2005, starting with Slackware, then moving through RedHat, Debian, Suse, Manjaro, and quite a few others.
At the moment, I can say that my top three Linux distributions are:
- Slackware – it has to be first for me; it’s what introduced me to the Linux world, and it’s currently the OS on my laptop.
- EOS – I use it on my desktop, as does my 12-year-old son, who discovered the magic of Linux through my computers after 3 years on Windows.
- Debian
Zero issues with updates or incompatibilities for 440 days.
