ok so ik its been a long time since ive posted here and im rly dumb at using linux now (i only remember certain things) and i really want to get back into it yk? when i run the eos installer, it all goes well right about up to 9% in the insall process: installing keyrings. i unfortunately lost the link to the full error message but it just exits with code 1 with no response. it seems it just cant fetch it, even tho im connected all good to the internet. after the error i insalled them myself but i dont know how to resume the install process after doing that part myself, apart from restarting the live environment which just resets my progress. will restart live env aggain but install the keyrings BEFORE i run the installer. sorry if this is rly dumb
lf any advice for now, will close if installing beforehand works
I think this is do to DDOS attacs on Arch. I know they had them once but apparently they are still on going. The best thing to do is keep trying. I recently had a vm install fail for the same thing. I was able to install it later that day.

glad it isnt my own error lmao ill keep restarting the live usb ig, thanks
Might also be a good idea to rank the mirrors before installing anything (see the options on the welcome app).
Or do a offline install if you want plasma installed , and update after installing.

I agree one should always rank the mirrors before install however I got the error with ranking the mirrors.
Just finished some updates in Arch , and everything seems to be working now, but I have to say I also have IPv6 activated.
