EOS doesn't boot on my GPU

Essentially, whenever I change the Initial Display Output in my BIOS to PCIe Slot 1 (my GPU, NVIDIA), it makes it so that it gets stuck on this screen:

[ OK ] Started Accounts Service.
[ OK ] Finished Notify about reboot on special conditions..
_

When I change my Initial Display Output back to IGD Video, everything boots up as normal. I don’t really know what is causing this.

The only “”“unusual”“” thing that happened before this started happening was a system upgrade consisting of only two packages: mesa, and lib32-mesa. I thought of downgrading them, but I’m not sure that’s a good idea. I want to see if there’s something else I can try before doing that.

I think it’s worth a try. If everything works fine after downgrading, you’ll know exactly what’s the cause.

I was a bit hesitant to do it, I thought maybe things could break even further. However, you’re right, downgrading the packages did in fact work. Thanks!
