I’m sure there are, but Arch doesn’t strive to be the place that explains all of that. It assumes you mostly already have at least a vague understanding, or go out and learn about these fundamentals for yourself if you don’t. - After that come back and they will tell you - in technical terms - how to achieve it on Arch.

Just look at the Arch Forum Newbie category, there are specific questions and solid engagement. It isn’t a torrent of “you stupid, get out”. That’s how they run the place, and that’s their decision. It has downsides, but also benefits.

It also opens up the space for more “beginner friendly” spinoffs like EOS. They have a great product, and others can build on it widening the appeal. They don’t have to change and become the end all to everybody, if that doesn’t fit the vision of “their” distro.

I don’t think Arch ever desired to be a distro you would use without knowing the GNU/Linux basics.
Forum and Wiki reflect that, although I must say that for me ArchWiki actually is comprehensive. Not only for Arch users, but talking about some distro-agnostic tools, it might be one of the best pieces of documentation out there. It requires knowledge – but the system itself does it, too.
Arch forum? Duhhhh. EOS community is the best, period.
