EndeavourOS live - external monitor issues

Hi!

I have researched and not found a solution.

I have createte a usb flash boot media via rufus, i guess i chosed GPT. And I guess it was ISO Mode (How to check?).

My hardware:

  • XMG NEO 15, XNE15E20, Nvidia RTX 2070 Refresh
  • ASUS VG27AQ, external monitor, at the moment portrait mode, that’s why i have to rotate to left in linux settings.

My external monitor is not set in the correct direction, so I have to rotate it in settings.

After I set Rotation to left in Display settings (external screen) I get pixel errors, the mouse arrow moves in correct directions, but when I move folder or windows from laptop screen to my external screen they move not accordingly correctly in directions. Additionally I can only use about the half of the screen, because the windows begin to dissappear, see photos.

I booted with both EndeavourOS x86_64 UEFI Default and EndeavourOS x86_64 UEFI Nvidia (latest cards only), same issues.

EndeavourOS version: atlantisNeo-21-5

Thx!

My setup is one vertical monitor and a horizontal monitor connected to my laptop, and I’m facing similar issues with the vertical monitor; after I set the screen rotation, the mouse input is correct but it behaves like that screen is extended from my horizontal monitor.

Can you post the output of inxi -Fxxc0z --no-host | eos-sendlog command. This command will give you a link post it here.

Hi @s4ndm4n !

https://clbin.com/OVk27 (I have done this on my installed EndeavourOS Atlantis Neo now).
I use my external ASUS monitor in landscape mode now, but at the moment my taskbar is gone.
