I’ll start to collect news about many EndeavourOS apps here. As time goes by, more apps will be included here.

Included apps

Name of the app Purpose
create-ml create-ml is yet another app for ranking Arch mirrors. Other related are e.g. rate-mirrors and reflector.
This app is inside package iso-create-ml.
Use command create-ml --help to see available options.
Command
create-ml
will show a ranked list of Arch mirrors, but will not save it to any file.
With option --save the list will be saved to /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.
There are a few options to optimize create-ml for your location, e.g.
--countries, --no-recommended-countries, --no-local, and --prefs
to mention some.

This is a new app, and I’d like people to try it and report any findings. :wink:

Is this thread only about apps from EOS team or will it include apps from Arch and non-Arch sources too?

I would say endoeavourOS only, because of the title.

Yes, @MyNameIsRichard is right, only EOS apps here.
Mainly because they will not be documented by Arch or other parties. :wink:
