Endeavouros AMD hardware support

Were you able to download it?

Yes, however, I still cannot boot into opensource mode. I can boot into graphical interface of proprietary mode, but takes a long time and have some errors when booting into it. I suspect that I may not be able to install EOS properly in this way.

I can see that currently I have the version to be 6.10.6-arch1-1 and OpenGL version string: 4.6.0 NVIDIA 560.35.03

the open source mode, will boot into some nonsense string error, with many entries filled with ?

What errors, specifically?

Does it boot with the nvidia option and completely load the live ISO? What errors are you referring to?

For this a whole lot, can you teach me how to get the those from tty and upload it to here?

nvidia_backlight, I ll check it specifically later.

boot into something like this

So it doesn’t complete the boot process and load to the live ISO?

yes, for default login

did you set the user and password for tty? I remember both of them shall be endeavouros, but I cannot go into tty by using them

Not sure what you mean? I’m asking if it boots up to the live ISO so you could start the installer?

we have two different types of installation right? for the first one without nvidia card, I cannot boot into live ISO, for the one with nvidia card, I boot into the graphical interface and can start the installer, but after install I boot into black screen.

So you were able to load the live ISO using the nvidia menu option and run the installer and install but it boots to a black screen correct?

The live ISO on boot like this?

yes

the wall paper seems to be zoomed bigger, I can see half of the EOS logo icon

So you try logging in and you get black screen? Did you try using X11 to log in instead of Wayland?

default is wayland? I haven’t tried any other thing yet

Bottom left on the log in screen you can switch to X11 to log in.

I cannot even see the login screen. I directly have a black screen after some loading

Sorry i misunderstood maybe? So it doesn’t boot and load to the login screen and then when you log in the screen goes black?

ah, it just a lot of string running and running, and then stuck into a blackscreen.
