bluetooth definitely needs to be an option in the installer or the welcome app

To be clear, Bluetooth is installed by default only it isn’t enabled by default.

Before issuing such a statement, read up on it in this thread, please.
Full BT support is included in EnOS out-of-the-box.
Of course, it cannot, and will not support all the world’s newest drivers for some HW chipsets just recently on sale!
No Linux distro could be doing that, although support for Nvidia/AMD are taking up more than 85% of Kernel space already, which in itself seems a hoot for mankind.

I stand corrected. Or sit corrected at least. But I think a button on the welcome app might be an option to consider.

There already is one, it brings the user to the Discovery article to enable it.

Come on, you know I mean an “enable” button, not a link to the how to enable procedure. 
Besides, what if the machine isn’t connected to the internet for some reason?
I assume that would be a HUGE problem with ANY distro or OS, right?

But that’s probably not what you are looking for. If willing to learn you will have a blast. If you want out of the box, I suggest use Pop OS or Linux Mint.
