Ah okay, I see how that could be a problem, I guess I was thinking more of desktop usage, which in my experience has like you say been rock solid.
Thanks for your explanation, it’s always interesting (as a pretty standard home user) to learn about other peoples’ usage scenarios.

And that is why I run Debian as my main daily driver. I have a second machine with Arch for fun and building ISO’s. Btw, both Debian and Arch machines are similar uptimes and installation ages, so yes, Arch can be very reliable (but stable by Debian’s definition it is not).
