Enable printer

Why is it such a pain in Endeavouros to enable a printer, in my case a new Lexmark MC3326? I’ve been trying for days.
I know that printer support is an option during installation but with wifi on Calamares crashed during process.
Do I really need to go back to Manjaro?

Have you checked this?
I just made a fresh install of EOS with no problems at all to enable my old Samsung Express printer. I have never had success with it on debian or ubuntu based distros. Arch is different. Aur provides great variety of printer support.

It’s actually not that hard. It’s just different. There’s an AUR package with cups driver.
