I was a bit bored today and I installed the Elisa player under Plasma (otherwise use only DeadBeeF and am quite spoiled). First impression: very appealing, clean sound, nice interface. Second impression: what, that was already all feasible settings, where is the sample rate, where is all that I expect from a player? Is there something I have overlooked?
The whole thing is somewhat reminiscent of the customs of GNOME, where you also have to accept everything as the developers have thrown it up.
There are some settings in the config file but it is fairly feature-free at this point.

OK, I’ll have another look at Elisa in a few years, if I’m still alive then and haven’t completely shot my ears yet …
