I don’t think this will be a good game, when was the last time bethesda made a good game? 2011? Maybe 2015?
It’s not the same company that made elder scrolls V anymore, and it was already heading downhill back then anyways.
Now they have the name it is just one prompt away from the release.
Let’s hope not 
It looks to me that since Morrowind Bethesda’s games are like a framework. They almost expect the modding community will finish their games. They are not bad just the RPG worlds feel stretched too thin and the locations not really connected/related.
With the level of woke rot in all the western game companies I hold no hope for this being even remotely good.
Blasphemy! All 5 mainline elder scrolls games were amazing, even if skyrim was a bit simplified and oblivion had a procedurally generated map!
I did not play Arena or Daggerfall but I enjoyed the rest - I will not argue about their value. What I am trying to say is the dev teams did not create interconnected world in the later games (Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3+4, Starfield). There is no interaction or conflict between the guilds/houses like in Morrowind - they just have a questline isolated from the rest of the world.
But still the world and the lore is interesting as a whole. It has a great potential for book series that is not used for some reason.
Bethesda has no need to go there to make a bad game. It is only necessary to know that Emil is still employed there, guaranteeing it will have terrible writing, a terrible main quest, and zero immersion.
Thanks to OpenMW having a native Linux version, I can just stick to Morrowind. Although I do hope they can achieve their goal of getting Oblivion (original) and Fallout 3 working. I have no use for anything Bethesda did after that.

I can’t beleve it’s been 8 years and one mediocre space game before the first TES teaser and this. Time to replay Skyrim.
