The game launches but then freezes at the white screen before it shows the From Soft logo and doesn’t progress from there. I’ve already played through the entire game via steam a couple times before this. Not sure what’s going on now though.
It happens to me too sometimes. I just try again and usually after three game restarts it works. Also check if you still have the “Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime” installed in Steam.
Unfortunately this is the solution for Elden Ring.
Nothing you can do, but reboot the game until it works.
White screen is the issue due to EAC.
If you start the game via unprotected exe (without EAC), it’ll always work.
