Efi mount error after update

Hi.
I just installed updates on EOS and it won’t boot up anymore. To the best of my abilities, I went into the logs and fstab file (generated) and I got the following message (I apologize in advance for the camera shot but EOS is currently broken, so writing this from another machine):

I found this article in the arch forums, just having a hard time understanding all that’s being said, but looks like the same symptoms.

The experts replying there seem to say to the OP that he has the boot sequence configured incorrectly, but I have not touched any of this. The system itself somehow tampered with it during some update.

Try booting the fallback entry.

Same result, something is up like stated in the link but I can’t figure out exactly what they mean.

That link is likely unrelated.

Boot off the ISO.

Follow the EOS wiki on arch-chroot being sure to mount the EFI partition at /mnt/efi.

Once in the chroot run the commands. pacman -Syu followed by the command reinstall-kernels

This post is pretty old and unrelated… also, some of the recommendations in this post won’t work on EOS. Arch is using mkinitcpio… EOS is using Dracut.

The best bet is to follow @dalto’s suggestion and chroot into your system from a live USB to check or fstab.
