DualSense Controller Connecting via Bluetooth but Not Inputting

For a while I was having trouble getting my PS5 controller to connect via bluetooth but was able to get it to do so using the instructions here: https://discovery.endeavouros.com/audio/bluetooth/2021/03/

I played Days Gone for I think a minute and it was working, but then the game was interrupted by, I believe, another game installing in the background, and now even when I disconnect and reconnect the controller, it’s just not inputting, and Steam isn’t detecting the controller as being connected at all, even though the Bluetooth manager says it’s connected (I’m using the GNOME desktop)

Can anyone please help me?

Make sure your system is up to date and using kernel 6.11.5. There were problems regarding Bluetooth in kernel 6.11.4.

Update the firmware of the controller. You can do that on the PS5 (if you have one) or on Windows using this

You will most likely have to pair it again on Linux after that.

Your controller might just be broken. If you can try to verify if it works on a PS5 or on Windows.

Just for good measure there where problems with Bluetooth on kernel 6.11.3 and kernel 6.11.4 solved the problem AFAIK.

No, kernel 6.11.4 broke it. Arch backported a fix and released an updated 6.11.4 before 6.11.5 was released. Kernel 6.11.5 is the upstream version that includes the fixes.
