Droidcam not working

Droidcam, an app to use a phone as a webcam, has worked fine on endeavouros, before I did my first system upgrade. I installed it using the official instructions under “video” for v4l2loopback-dc provided by Dev47Apps and I downloaded the packages from the aur.
Now I just get the error you can see in the attached image
After seeing the error, i uninstalled the Droidcam, v4l2loopback-dc and v4l2loopback packages, and reinstalled them using the same instructions, but: it still doesn’t work

Instructions: https://www.dev47apps.com/droidcam/linux/

Just installed, following the link you posted, works here (doesn’t work with Cheese, but does work with Zoom).

Not a lot of help sorry

so i got closer to fixing this issue: i can’t reinstall v4l2-loopback-dc because rmod says, that it is “in use” when i try to unload it, any way to force reload it? it should not be in use already, droidcam is closed

have you tried v4l2loopback-dkms yet?
if nothing helps you can take a look at srcpy so you can use your phone as a webcam
