The only extension I use is app indicator.

If you set keybindings/shortcuts for your favorite programs you could potentially drop the dash to dock extension and use gnome similar to i3wm.

Also one nice feature, when you have a two windows open, hover over one of the and click Super+right arrow. Then try left arrow. Then top arrow. You can quickly arrange your floating windows.

If you use a laptop, on the touchpad use three fingers to push forward or drag backward. Then 2 or 3 fingers move to right or left…

Talking about hallucinations. I went on a trip and tried Gnome. It brought me back home to KDE where it just feels right. No extensions. I’m back! :crazy_face:

Never ever had plasma break. Gnome is just Gnome …well … with extensions. Nothing appealing to me. Same old Gnome that reminds me of Ubuntu! Just cant do it! It’s just Gnome. :expressionless: :unamused: :roll_eyes: :disappointed:

I install it and think it’s October 2012. :astonished:

do nothing with plasma :wink: use stock . it nearly never break . same for Gnome . make me giggle Plasma this Gnome that xfce better lxqt lighter … DE no matter! linux be what you make it :wink: :popcorn:

I’m not one to say this desktop is better than that desktop. I like most desktops. I’m just saying Gnome doesn’t appeal to me the way it looks, feels, works. :man_shrugging:

@pebcak has a better desktop than mine. He’s got the Golden Gnome. I only had Bronze or less. :thinking:

No your a KDE user nothing wrong with that its a capable desktop for you, stick with it.
Alas KDE is not for me it feels wrong so i stick with what i like
