I mention this because there were problems with other distributions that used Arch, and yay did not update the AUR package keys, whereas baph did so without any issues. That is all.
..āAcceptā?
Its an AUR package.
All people have equal access to it.
This might be the first time I have ever heard of baph
.
And I somewhat doubt it would be needed for keys.
But I dont see why you could not use it if you wanted to.
(Though that is not an endorsement - I have not reviewed the package.)
Well, āacceptā is just a way of expressing oneself, simply to avoid installing things that might not work later. It was just a normal question, a bit silly if you like, but thereās no need to be so picky, in my opinionā¦
I just wanted to better understand your question. Words are tools for communication. But they work best when we have shared definitions. When you write something that does not have a solid definition then unless we simply assume your intention then the best course of action is to inquire about the intended meaning.
I still am not sure I understand it.
Just looking for opinions?
Baph is not widely known or used. Not much of a reputation to repeat.
Its in the AUR, alongside dozens of other AUR helpers, and you can choose to install it if you want.
For some of the most popular, and comparisons, you might see the ArchWiki;
Iāve already installed it and it works perfectly.

If you accept it, thatās all that matters.
Been around for a long time, at least.

With Arch you never know what works tomorrow.
I think Iāll post here again⦠I feel persecutedā¦
You of course, remain most welcome Iām sure.
Iāve had a read through your topic and in my opinion at least, nothing was said that was intended as aggression or to persecute.
Now sometimes things are said without gentle flourishing. It can come across as blunt, but I strongly believe this is simply a reflection of a character that has good intention, but does not spend time on window dressing. That is, they still mean well, theyāre just inclined to get to the point.
Just a heads up that the developer of baph spends a lot of time living off grid now, so donāt expect any bug fixes/updates.
If itās true, Nate hasnāt been seen for a long time.
But hey, itās yay, Paru, no problems with them. But I definitely like baph!
Thanks again @PackRat!
Hello!
Iāve been on this forum for many years. In fact, I was at the Endeavour preview with @Joe and couldnāt continue due to the death of my son.
After that, and I donāt remember exactly what year it was, many Manjaro users moved here, and the forum was very rude and many were very impolite. So Iām quite familiar with how some people handle thingsā¦
Thatās all.
You never did communicate what you meant with āacceptā.
It was not rude to ask.
Be well.
Iām so so sorry for you.
