Do I still need the EOS repo?

Hei,

I unchecked any EOS apps and themes during installation. However, I discovered that I still have the EOS pacman repository. Is it safe to remove the EOS repo if I don’t have any EOS apps?

Thanks.

If you don’t have any package from this repo installed, you can remove the repo, too, perfectly safe.

Yes, it’s completely safe. I’ve been running my setup without the EOS repo for a few months now with no distro-related issues.

Also, your neofetch is likely to look like this:

[user@domain ~]$ neofetch
                   -` user@domain

Not a bad side effect imho.
