dGPU + iGPU

Hi everyone. I have a problem, when I have iGPU enabled, my computer uses it to render instead of the dGPU. Right now the workaround is disabling iGPU. But I want it enabled, just if something happens to dGPU. How can I solve it? Also, can I make it such that I plug a display into iGPU, but it uses dGPU to render? It would give me one more DP.

I observed this behaviour in X-Plane 12.

Nope, switcheroo-control is already installed and it happens even when I use “Run using discrete graphics card”

Some details I forgot to add:

  • dGPU is Radeon RX 7900 XTX
  • iGPU is whatever is in Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • X-Plane 12 uses Vulkan
