Dell Dock (WD19TB) Endeavour / Arch driver?

I have a Dell XPS 7590 laptop w/ 1t ssd, and it is all dedicated to EndeavorOS. I bought a Dell dock - the WD19TB - as well. The dock runs fine on a 2017 Lenovo running Windows.

But with Endeavor… well, it is kinda worse than just nothing, which would make me think the issue is solely drivers. Plugging USB sticks and an external drive into the dock, nothing. At first. Then I wiggle the cord around and suddenly I get them. But not for long. The cord could have a short, but I don’t think so… it works fine w/ that other machine on Windows w/ a Dell driver for the dock.

So. Is there a driver that would help me out here? I was looking forward to not only the thunderbolt port but also the other usb ports, plus the earphone jack (I’m still old school w/ the plug-in ear phones). Thanks for any guidance here. The Arch AUR was slim pickin’s, unless I just didn’t type in the right driver name.

Maybe this helps?

EDit: This is a thunderbolt dock?

There is lot’s of information on arch forums and also the arch wiki.

Sadly, I was wrong about the dock. It turns out this isn’t about EndeavorOS/Arch at all. The dock itself was defective with a short in the plug and I returned it to the ebay seller I bought it from. Very frustrating. Worked intermittently but a short’s a short.

Can mark this one solved.
