ddterm is my goto Gnome extension.
In setting up another computer with Cassini I have configured the settings. When I invoke ddterm (F12) I get:
I know it works because its running on the other PC perfectly.
https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/3780/ddterm/
Maybe I can migrate ddterm and its dependencies from the other computer and copy them onto this. How to do it?
Maybe there is a better way, since tackling the RPM here is not what I had hoped for from the developer as a closed issue.
The https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/gnome-shell-extension-ddterm has it, but all I needed to do was enable the extension.

The mentioned file comes from the package vte3
.
Try installing it and see if the issue will be resolved.

You are welcome! Glad to hear that you got it working!
And thanks for the compliment!
Its not only ddterm I want to migrate. Since the other computer has everything I want on the new one, is there a step-by-step guide to migrating applications?

Have a look at 2.5 and 2.6:

Also for most applications the configs reside in ~/.config. I would copy them over on a per case basis.
Firefox, to give an example, have its config directly under home: ~/.mozilla
