What audio and video codecs are those files using? The free version of DaVinci Resolve can’t import H.264 or H.265 video. Neither free or Studio version can import AAC audio. It doesn’t matter what container they’re in (MKV, MP4, MOV, etc). These are simply codec license restrictions.
