Cursed mutter issue

Hey guys,

I am using the budgie environment and am trying to upgrade via pacman -Syu, but mutter is stopping me from doing so…if its even there. Not really sure how to proceed from here.

:: mutter and mutter43 are in conflict. Remove mutter43? [y/N] n
error: unresolvable package conflicts detected
error: failed to prepare transaction (conflicting dependencies)
:: mutter and mutter43 are in conflict
[jake@jake ~]$ sudo pacman -Rdd mutter
error: target not found: mutter

Try sudo pacman -Syu mutter43

If that doesn’t work, you will need to figure out what is pulling in mutter as a dependency and remove it before upgrading.

Do you also have gnome installed?

Yeah I did and Rdd’ing it resolved the issue, Strueth need to avoid gnome while trying to budgie around.
