CS:GO (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive) gets black screen on launch

Hello friends.

I’m coming from Ubuntu and Fedora and have decided to make EOS my only operating system. I know very little about Linux/EOS and I’m learning little by little.

On Ubuntu, CSGO works, on Fedora and on EOS I get a black screen (currently I only have EOS).

I launch CSGO, I get a black screen called csgo opengl, and it closes after 30 seconds.

I have tried to put -nojoy -vulkan -full in the CSGO launch options, but the same thing happens.

Other native Steam games do work, but not CSGO.

My pc is an i-5 3470 (4 cores), nvidia gtx 1050 ti (4gb), 8gb ram, gigabyte motherboard

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong since I’m new, maybe one of you can help me with this problem.

Thanks in advance.

Hi again friends.

After so many months, I have found a way to play CSGO, not really a solution but at least I can play CSGO.

Steam > Settings > Compatibility > Enable All

It is not the official solution, since CSGO has its Native Linux version and it should work without having to activate this, but at least it works.
