Corrupted Screen on Wakeup (Gnome/GDM) - Help Needed!

  • Hey everyone,
  • I’m running EndeavourOS with Gnome 47.1 and encountering a frustrating issue with a corrupted screen upon waking from sleep. Every time my system wakes, the icons and text on the GDM login screen look garbled and distorted (see attached image).
  • Here’s what I know so far:
    • Problem: Corrupted screen on wakeup (GDM login screen). Icons and text are distorted.
    • Login: Despite the corruption, I can still log in successfully.
    • Boot: This issue only occurs after waking from sleep, not during a fresh boot.
    • Troubleshooting: I’ve already tried disabling all Gnome extensions, but it had no effect.
  • I suspect this isn’t an EndeavourOS-specific problem, but rather something related to Gnome/GDM and my Intel HD Graphics.
  • Has anyone encountered this before or have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  • Thanks in advance!

Being curious. When you switch to Gnome Wayland, does this happen as well?
