Whenever I run programs through Wine, AND ONLY ON WINE, there is always this background noise on top of it. I tried using Cadence as a post here said and still persists. The idea was routing all audio through JACK.
The fun thing is that hours ago I broke my audio. My install could not display any audio but this Wine noise still persisted!!! Paranormal. I am clueless as you can see.
Btw, I mixed audio packages badly in installing Cadence. jack2 cadence pulseaudio-jack zita-ajbridge added deps that replaced pipewire packages and now i absolutely can’t get back because somehow jack deps managed to be a dep of plasma-workspace when it used to be something from pipewire. I dunno if I should uninstall all audio packages and reinstall pipewire ones only.
